Hi & welcome to my front porch. My name is Ashley.  I am a Christian wife of 32 years and mom of 3 young adults. I homeschooled my kids for 18 years, and I also spent a few years writing for a magazine called Molly Green Magazine.

I have always loved writing, and here at Ashley’s Front Porch, you’ll find me talking about many different topics such as faith, homemaking, books I’m reading, chronic illnesses, journaling, family life, and my love of classic TV dramas and movies from the 1980s and 1990s (including some Lifetime favorites!).

I have struggled with multiple chronic illnesses since my teens, including fibromyalgia, chronic migraines, IBS, and interstitial cystitis. During the hard days, God reminds me of the many blessings in my life.

I hope you’ll find encouragement here and maybe even discover a few hidden TV drama gems along the way.
